Some of the great driving games

There are several ways you can buy a car whether it’s from a retailer or contract hire. In a way the same goes for the way games are made, they can be realistic, pc usable or put on a console, whether their there for a laugh or not what is the best driving game?

The game that comes into my head first is not what you would expect from a driving game. Although the most unrealistic driving game it is the most well known across the world. It has to be first on the list, Mario Kart. Driving games don’t have to be real to make them good as everyone will know from playing Mario Kart. You can take your pick from loads of different bikes, karts and characters. Seeing someone get hit by a giant shell or run over by you when you are giant is the most satisfying element of playing Mario Kart and is what makes it so good.

Another favourite of mine is the brilliant Forza 2 on Xbox 360. This game is brilliant as it not only looks very realistic you can play it online as well as choose every single part of the car from the paint to the engine. You have to stop and make repairs at the pit stop from the realistic damage you get from the crashes you may suffer. Ranging from the Golf GT right the way up to the Lotus Elise this game has hundreds of cars to choose from. The handling feels like it would when you are driving these fantastic cars as well. If you are going to drive at 100mph round one of the games corners then you will most certainly see the car crash into the barrier or another car.

The Grand Turismo series is another great looking game. Always been known for its realistic gameplay, number five most certainly does not disappoint. Cars such as the Bmw Z4 and Ferrari models are shown as you would see them in reality.

it is exactly true in reality. The cars that you can get via this method are affordable. You can get car contracting on pretty much any model nowadays ranging from mini’s right the way to Mercedes contract hire. They really are a great way to beat the downturn with prices under £300 a month you cant really go wrong.

it’s all about comparing, and whilst games have every car anyone could ever dream of, its just too expensive at the moment to buy a brand new car.

Car Tecnology

How far has car industry technology come in recent years? From being a luxury way back in the 1930’s to the cheap affordable way you can buy them now using car contract hire it is amazing just how far they have come.

The knowledge of the games industry is the best way I can talk about the change in technology. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System is a brilliant place to start this off . There are previous consoles I could cover as well but as my first proper console was the SNES it is best to really only cover from here. F1 pole position was really the first driving game I had ever played and for 1993 it is a brilliant piece of gaming.

There was a massive comparison between the SNES and N64 versions of the game showing just how far the industry had come in a small time of four years. The jump graphically is simply fantastic. The cars went from being 2-D to being 3-D which is huge leap in technology. The next jump skips the next generation of consoles and forms itself onto the PS3 and Xbox 360 as some of the graphics on the driving games on these consoles are so realstic it is truly unreal.V.

This hasn’t just happend with computer games, a lot of things have been introduced to the car between these years, most of which I am not even going to mention. Maybe not the best in the opinion of a lot people but personally the Hybrid car is the best invention to come to the car industry in a long time. The reason they are so good is that they save a hell of a lot on energy which is going to be pretty useful for when the oil runs dry. Some of the newer models of the Hybrid cars have system that powers the battery whenever you brake the car.

Of course not to be forgotten is the brilliant to shut the kids up, T.V in the car as well as heated seats to calm the Mrs down during a heated ‘you’ve got us lost’ argument.

Hybrid cars will become increasingly more important in years to come but when buying a car now you need one that looks good as well as being affordable. Why not spend less on a leased car? The Audi contract hire looks pretty good as well as being as little as £214 a month.

Looking Out For Your Kids While Using Games Online

We are faced with additional challenges compared to those that faced our parents. When we were young and we were playing outside of the house, they were most likely worried that we could get hurt while playing, either scrape our knees or get sprained or they were worried that a stranger might talk to us and we will reply. Those are all things that our parents would be forced deal with back in the day. Now that we are parents ourselves, on top of these run of the mill problems, we now face additional worries whenever our children play online games. Online gaming usually offer two things that you might need to protect your child from. One is that some online games, since they offer anonymity, can be accessed by pedophiles and can talk to your child. Second is that griefers, also known as cyber bullies, can target and can make your chilled extremely miserable.

Online gaming usually has a chatting option wherein our little one can chat with others. It is usually used to talk about strategy or barter items in the game but it can also be used to talk about non-game related stuff like TV or even about personal life. Keep it simple before allowing your children to go out questing before getting a copy of used street fighter 4

To ensure your childrens safety online here are a few basic tips that I would suggest implementing in your house to protect them from grifers and pedophiles alike, just do these before you go and find halo wars or some other games:

1.    Make sure your child understands – When your implement rules and boundaries on online gameplay be sure to let them know the purpose. Let them know that it’s not an issue of trust between you and them, but your skepticism of people online.

2.    Relocate the computer – Put games and computers in a public area of the house where you can easily supervise your kids while they are online. This will ensure that you can check up on the gaming activities of your child once in a while. Also, if the computer is in a well trafficked area, your child will also be able to interact with people in the real world.

3.    Teach – Tell your child to never give out the following information to people online:
a. Real name
b. Contact details like address and phone number
c. Location
d. Passwords
e. Social security numbers

4.    Make sure that they use a pseudonym as a log in ID.

5.    Ignore – Ignore both strangers and bullies online. Strangers like this are looking for easy prey, if you just don’t respond they will go away after a few seconds.

6.    Keep above those below you – Tell your child that if a griefer is very persistent to never attack him the way they tried to attack your child. This will only make matters worse.

7.    Ask an adult – Let your kids know that if they are faced with social problems online they should always come to your first. Tell them that even if you are busy, even if you are not even at home, that they can call you up in the office or in your cell phone to ask help or to let you know what scared them.

Follow these tips before you allow your kids to go on the net and play games once you’ve gotten them resident evil 5 for sale

Can you really have the car of your dreams?

When playing the new Grand Turismo, I really do have to say how awsome the cars look compared to their reall counterparts. When playing these types of games i could really go for one of the top of the range cars that I am racing with. When playing a game like this you always want the car that you play with the most, is that really a possibilty?

With car contract hire they can most certainly become available with as little as £214 a month. When pl;aying some of the new games out there like Grand Turismo it is easy, even for me, to see why people spend so much money on cars when they look this great, and with car leasing you really dont have to spend much at all on a fantastic looking car. The graphics that can be put into games nowadays are simply stunning. In ten years the industry for gaming has come so far enabling more funding for games such as Grand Turismo 5. I still remember the days of F1 on the N64 and back then I thought they were the best graphics out there and that was nearly nine years ago.

After loading up the new GT5 it is amazing to see just how far the graphics have come in such a short time span. It is certainly arguable that you can’t compare the N64 playabilty with the PS3’s brilliant graphics, then again that could just be my opinion of playing too much N64 when I was a kid. However it was not until I started to play the games that actually showed the cars for how they look in reality that I realised I might actually consider buying one of these cars.

Are these brilliant graphics put into the game for playabilty or just so you can really see how good these cars are? In short yes, numerous games get a lot of their funding from advertising in game! It is astonishing how you can pick from so many different cars as well as choose it’s colour in the game. The wonderful thing about these games is that you actually pick what kind of car you might want in the game as well as the colour you may have and because the graphics are so mind blowingly awsome you really wont need to go and physically look at a new car. Fantastic!

As well as this, with hires like Audi contract hire for ridiculously small amounts of money a month, the cars you see in games can truly become your own.

What are Wii Games MMORPG’s?

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games or MMORPG’s as they are more commonly known, are role playing games which bring together large numbers of players via the Internet.

A defining feature of MMORPG’s is that they all offer a persistent virtual world in which to play.  These worlds often support thousands of simultaneous players, all of whom are playing a single character in the game.

What Does This Mean To You when Playing Wii?
Whenever you play an MMORPG you take control of your Wii games character that is most commonly known as an avatar and you guide it’s action through out with the Wii game controller. Most games offer an experience based level system – a player guides their character through certain tasks, such as killing a monster, and in return their ability to repeat similar tasks increases. This is usually represented by an overall skill level associated to the character, and sub levels representing individual skills.

Just like the worlds are persistent, you skills are saved, meaning that the effort & time you put into your game is permanently reflected in your character.

For example if you played a combat orientated game your overall ability to fight may be represented by a Combat Level – this level would increase each time you gained a pre-determined number of experience points, granting more powerful abilities and skills.  When you logout of the Wii game everything is remembered so next time you play you can start from where you left off.

Online
As MMORPG’s connect thousands of players with the same virtual world central game servers provide a synchronized experience for everybody.  This means if you killed a specific monster then it would not only vanish from your screen, but also from that of all the other players.

Real time chat is usually available, typed messages can be displayed to other players in and round your location.Duels and team work are common for MMORPG’s. They also allow trade between the players.

Playing As A Group
Every system let’s gamers play together as a team or on separate teams whenever you use an MMORPG, that is one of the benefits of using this. That can mean that you team up to tackle difficult enemies or you pull together your resources so that you can advance the goals of your team. These groups are either guilds or clans.

Games Inside Other Games
MMORPGS provide players with many different paths to follow and the players of the game literally define the world they play in.That is included but not limited to many items within games that are created by the players gathering resources.

This is called Crafting and it is a popular alternative to playing combat orientated character.Crafters are usually very wealthy in game assets and would rather sell their goods for game currency or other item than dominate physically.

Wii Online or Offline?
Sure, the games that you play offline can provide you with relaxation & enjoyment, but what they cannot offer you is the depth and social interaction the MMORPG’s Wii games can provide.  Character progression is the essential ingredient letting you concentrate on the aspects of the game you enjoy without worrying about those you don’t.

Every character starts with similar levels and skills, but quickly you will personalize your character meaning few others will be exactly like you.

If you are addicted to playing computer games then try a MMORPG.  Once you start playing you will never look back.

New way to play golf on the Wii

As long as the game is nt Tiger Woods 09 as that game is quite possibly the worst game of the entire series. A great game on Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 it still is very limited on who is going to buy it really as the majority of gamers prefer the shooters. This years edition of the game will most certainly tempt me simply because of the new Nintendo technology. Why is this? It’s certainly not because I’m saving money on electric golf trolleys that’s for sure. The great Nintendo motion sensing technolgy wasn't as great as it was expected to be and although great for kids it does get in the way of devlopers making half decent games for it. I will not talk about how much Nintendo have disappointed their fans over the last couple of years but I will say with the release of the new MotionPlus attachment for the Wii remote the game actually starts responding to how it should have when the Wii was first released.

This of course makes stormy weather a reason for golfers to smile with glee as they can simply walk downstairs and play their dream course in a nice summers day. You get to feel al the stress of a real golfer by deciding on what club to choose, what the wind direction is and how hard you actually have to hit the ball.

The new game which is due out later this year will sell more than than last years edition that much is certain. Being rubbish at golf myself should mean that I would be equally as bad at Tiger Woods but it makes it a lot easier than the real thing and even if you do find yourself failing then you still have the safety knowing that only you and your family will see you fail rather than the whole golf course. You can scream at the course as much as you want on the game as there is no one there to tell you to be quiet so there! Although watching someone fail to hit the ball very far on the Wii will be amusing it certainly will not be anywhere close to when I was an assistant greenkeeper at my local golf course and took great pleasure in watching some of the golfers fail miserably.
The best thing of all is that you no longer have to charge golf batteries up, just walk into the room, pick up the remote and have a game!

Could gaming be the new sport?

Sporting games can appeal to anyone at all which is a huge problem for the real sports as they really only apply to the people who actually play the game itself. Just how close are computer games to the real thing? The question is, do you burn the same amount when you are playing the sports on a games console? The best way to put it is . . . perhaps.  Obviously if you are buying say a golf game for the 360 or PS3 it is not going to do anything apart from save you money on one of those electric golf trolleys.

On the other hand if you were to purchase one on the Wii the only thing you are missing out on is the walking aspect of the sport. A lot of the pro's in golf do not bother to even walk the course as it is so how much are you really missing out on. Game devlopers are always looking to improve the games they are making and this has become more of a competition than anything and the Wii is taking advantage of this by using its powerful motion sensing technlogy. When playing sports games that use your hands like golf and tennis it actually feels like you are playing the real thing which I have to admit is fantastic. With the new attachment for the Wii due out later this year motion sensing technology will advance further. This is a big problem for sport as the new technology is going to enable games to be made to be even more realistic than some of them are now. So is this really having an affect on anything? It is a great idea for all the people who simply cant afford to go out and pay loads of fees. Everytime you wish to play golf all you have to do is walk to the console and switch it on.

Personally I love games, but I think that they should stick to making the games that people that play them like and leave the sporting ones out of it. Every sport requires a huge talent to be able to play in a half decent way and it would certainly be a shame to see less and less people to start playing over time because of computer games.

So next time your stuck between going out in the rain for a round of golf or plugging in the Wii for a bit of a game, stop and think, the real thing is always better so charge up those golf batteries and get playing!

How I Get My Boys Away From The Television

All my kids talk about getting every year for Christmas is video games if they don’t go downstairs and find Gears of War 2 under our new flocked christmas tree I do not know how they will survive. It makes me a little nuts since I do all I can to get my kids outdoors. I would much rather give them a pair of new skates or golf clubs then some mind numbing thing that will enchant them in front of the television. Oh well I guess you just learn that kids are kids. Arguing with the boys over “appropriate” lengths of time is just too much work.

After saying that I guess I should get to the point that I’ve developed a few ways to control their television addiction. I do a couple of things in an effort to force them outside. First off I limit their time every day to one hour (they can earn more). I have discovered that limiting the time is key to everything else because then they know time above and beyond that is to be earned. I do give them some ways to earn more time in front of the television. That leads me into my second trick. They have a few options to earn more television time, either playing outside or doing some chores for me. I like the chores option because it is nice for me to have a few less things to do, and the reward for them isn’t bad either. I intentionally made it with the purpose of them getting around one hour of television time for every one hour they spend on chores.

The number two way they get more television time is by spending some of their time outside. When they go outside and play nice I allow them 15 minutes of gaming to every hour of outside time. Like I say this isn’t a huge payoff, but I also don’t really think asking them to be outside is a huge thing to ask. That option works the best of their long Saturdays where they spend the majority of the day outside anyway. They spend all day outside on Saturdays and earn themselves a couple of hours in front of the television. I do not even mind if they play a night of video games after a good day outside.

That being said I’m ok with one or two ending up under flocked christmas tree this year if it has the effect of getting my brats outside and getting some stuff done around the house for me. I hope they like their games, because I am going to like my “gift” of a little more control around the house.

Even Females Can Now Enjoy Video Games

Instead of the traditional needles and threads, on women’s hands nowadays are joysticks and keypads of the latest games. This isn’t me complaining about the domestic rolls women and men normally hold, but because of a few things. Here is my opinion on my more and more females are playing video games.

Really all I use my computer for is my stock software, but my wife likes to play video games to that lead me to my question. The number one reason is the growing interest that women have in tech. More girls are learning about new and varied fields, leading them to higher self esteem and knowing they can do whatever boys can. When one says technology, we don’t mean things like vacuum cleaners, washing machines, ovens or other things that women have historically involved with. The graphics and sound effects that the video games have are cool and girls seem to be as attracted to them as men are. They don’t mind making mistakes or playing around to learn the buttons, so they are learning.

A big factor is financial stability. As girls hold paying jobs they can both afford to play video games, and deserve to as a stress reliever. However, be assured that there are times the practical nature would kick in and prefer for equipment far more essential to everyday chores before indulging in the cyber entertainment. This is a major reason why more girls are playing xBox as it is one of the negatives of achievement.

The third major reason is that game development has focused a lot more on women than it used to. A lot of games revolve around action and adventure, most common of which are set in the war field. There is a number of the fairer sex also into playing them but as the game developers have seen a potential market aside from the men and the kids, more games are designed to accommodate that market. More games today are targeted at the female demographic with softer graphics and story-lines, even tho these games are also popular with many males.

Fourth reason is for entertainment, same as everybody else’s. Cross stitching, baking and cooking are not the only activities that a woman’s hobby is limited to as it has expanded along with the advancement of technology. I’m never surprised when I see a woman with a gaming console playing it during a her free time.

Fifth reason why more women are playing video games is to be in a competition against the men. Although this is a friendly match, they do participate in the thrill of the game and at times would be heralded as the winners.

The trend in the society has changed. Gone are the days where men are dumbfounded – or even furious on occasion – upon finding women whose interest pushes far from the four walls of their house. When more girls play video games, there is now a point of interest shed between males and females that they can compete in. Video games give women one more topic for girls to discuss with men on dates alongside of sports, movies, politics, and other ventures that men and women can share. So, aside from the psychological and social relevance of women being able to play video games, having fun outweighs all the other reasons and the objections as well. If things keep going like this I will have to for christmas buy wii fit.

Video Are Too Violent for Youth

The more graphic the effects, the better. The race to increased market sales is on for different gaming manufacturers as almost every month, state-of-the-art technology are incorporated with each video game. Sometimes characters come almost to life and the player is given so many details that most people would rather not see – like gory scenes. As fast as these stores empty their shelf-full of games is the rise of a question that are met with different reactions: Are video games too violent?

Of course, there is more than one side in conflict here. On the first hand there are people who believe that video games are ok the way they are. Mainly people need to know how much discipline the gamer has, and that could affect the extent of the influence. It has become a matter of self-control and a measure of putting things into proper perspective. If people get more violent after a few hours of gaming then maybe it’s their lack of dicipline, rather than the game causing the problems.

On the other hand however, this point is the same argument as those who believe that video games are too violent. The powerful emotional response is brought on by the action and effects that is so realistic that people cant detach themselves from it. Reality is depicted as it is, and sometimes even more exaggerated to an extent, to achieve the credits for full effects without realizing that a gamer might not be able to distinguish which is happening in “real life” from those that occur only in the game.

There is an argument to be made either way, but we still don’t know if it really causes gamers to turn violent. The debate can go on, but to be helpful to gamers, there are several ways with which any retaining effects can be prevented. {Firstly everyone should have a maximum number of hours dedicated to video games every day}. These are especially for people who have not much will-power to identify reality from not. Following a schedule will help you learn that discipline.

Second is to know when to stop. As soon as you find yourself too highly involved in the death of a character or in a loss against an opponent, breathe. It has the dual effect of clearing your mind and normalizing the gamers body after an adrenaline surge. Third is for parents, who are allowing their kids to play video games. From an early age in life, children need to be taught discipline and structure. Once a child has been affected then the effects are hard to remove, so parents need to be vigilant. If you want a game that is fun and not overly violent then you should think about buy legend of zelda namely buy oracle of seasons.

Objectivity may be hard when broaching the subject of violence and technology might be too diverse to understand. What can be sure, though, is that individual’s should have their own mastery of technology so that thy won’t have to ask if video games are too violent.
