Want To Find Your Way Back From Diabetes? Then You Need To Find New Solutions! Face It, Conventional Medicine Would Have You Dependent Forever On Drugs! Here Are Answers And Changes Needed!

HIGH BLOOD SUGAR IS AN INDICATION OF A MORE SERIOUS PROBLEM

POPULAR UNDERSTANDING:

Diabetics do not make enough insulin or the body does not use all the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that assists the production of glucose (sugar) to be absorbed into cells and then converted to energy. The pancreas emits enzymes that aid carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism. Once the pancreas is non-performing then digestive enzymes are not supplied for digestion. The condition imbalances the liver, gall bladder, spleen and all digestive related organs. In unmanaged diabetes, glucose and fats remain in the blood stream, where with time, the primary body's digestive organs become impaired and eventually diseased.

DIABETIC STATISTICS:

  • Seventeen million Americans are walking around with diabetes, and 200,000 people will die this year due to related complications. Diabetes sets up conditions for heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney failure, leg and foot amputations, pregnancy complications, and deaths related to flu and pneumonia. At risk, are the 5.9 million Americans who are unaware that they have the condition.
  • We spend $100 Billion a year on diabetes, directly and indirectly. In 1997, the normal health care outlay for someone with diabetes was ,071, contrasted with ,699 for an individual without diabetes.
  • U.S. adults with diabetes increased 49% from 1990 to 2000. Increases are expected in the next decade and beyond.
  • Diabetes is an epidemic. In 1990, there were only 4 U.S. states determined to be at epidemic levels. In 1995, that number increased to 11. In 2000, there were only 6 states that were not at epidemic levels.

What happened to the other 44 states in 10 years? What is occuring in our country where a disease can over run us. Secretly, we are being plague by a force superior to any terrorist group. Is there anyone seeing what is truely happening? That’s more than 15 million plus people caught in the grips of this top level threat to our country. Where’s the equal level response by our government and medical establishment?

UNDERLYING CAUSATION

While insulin production and all the relevant symptoms in the body is a concern, to rest here and just declare the pancreas is the source of the ailment is not enough. Its a key element but not the whole. Some other factors:

Diet & Elimination: While diet plays another primary role in the story, reducing protein, carbs and sugar, soundly, helps but there is more to the setting that needs to be acknowledged. The nourishment value of our food is less nutritious. Our U.S. sources have depleted the soil quality. Rather than re-establishing our soil with our elimination similar to other long life zones, the U.S. drains its precious elimination down the sewage lines to the oceans. As a result we have to look to natural sources of foods and diabetic herbs.

Life stressors: Stress wears down the life force. Are we experiencing more stress than our parents? Hard to say. They experienced World War II while we have been presented ever increasing unlabelled wars, entertainment channels, manmade diseases, taxes, etc. If, we try to live up to expectations and not restore ourselves (body, mind, spirit) then our adrenals-kidneys will become depleted which is the home of our vital energy production. The consequence is that all of our body organs do not have the vitality to maintain.Consequently, when organs do not perform their functions and call for restoration, not separately but systemically prior to additional non-understood illnesses present.

Character: Our ability to interpret, positively or negatively, may have a lot to say about our ability to manage personal conflict. If we see things positively then our perceptions and response is that we are challenged and figure out solutions. Once negative, then positive options may be overlooked because we are overwhelmed by fear. That high level of anxiety speeds up aging, perpetuates fear and opens the door to an unprotected immunity. We need to learn or relearn how find courage during stressful times. As we believe, we perceive, so shall our life follow.

Chiropractic Management Can Relieve Fibromyalgia Symptoms

Fibromyalgia

You don’t need anyone to tell you about the wearing symptoms of fibromyalgia if you suffer from the pain created by it. The painful symptoms can cover a large area, occurring above and below the waist, and include both sides of the body. The deep aching that accompanies the condition often travels, shoots, burns, and even gnaws at your body.

As if the intense pain and suffering from fibromyalgia weren’t enough, a disproportionate ninety percent of fibromyalgia sufferers also have chronic fatigue syndrome, and you might be one of them. It is this “double whammy” that can leave you not only suffering from pain and fatigue, but also malaise, headaches, numbness and pins and needles, dizziness, sleep disturbance, swollen feeling in tissues, stiffness, sensitivity to noise and stress, and cognitive impairment.

If you are experiencing the distressing symptoms of one, or both, of these two debilitating conditions, you may find it impossible to engage in even the simplest activities in life, and you may even be feeling depressed and defeated. Fortunately, your chiropractor can assist you. Chiropractic treatment has been proven to be highly effective in reversing trauma-induced injuries by reducing irritation to the nerves in the brain stem and spinal cord that can trigger pain, neuromuscular dysfunction, and fatigue.

You may be wondering, at this point, what “trauma-induced injuries” have to do with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. You may find the connection surprising

While the precise cause of these syndromes is unknown, current research has pinpointed traumatic neck injuries, such as whiplash and concussion, as risk factors for the onset of both fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. And, here’s the thing: though the pain and fatigue caused by spinal injuries can be triggered immediately, frequently it can take quite a long time, perhaps months or years to develop. By the time fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms appear, these injuries may not be remembered.

The Five Fatal Diseases

The fact is there are 5 diseases that are fatal to humans, the first one is heart attack, the second is cancer, then stroke, lung disease and last but moving up fast in the list is diabetes. The fatal five share two common elements, Free-radicals and inflammation. Free-radicals are molecules or atoms that are missing an electron, the free-radicals attack any healthy cells they come in contact with and steal an electron causing damage to the cell membrane. Inflammation is a process that is intended to help our body heal but in the case of disease, free-radicals cause deformities or mutations in the cells, the inflammation can not repair the damage so it actually begins to feed the now deformed or mutated cells. Let us take a closer look at all five of these fatal diseases.

Clots in the arteries cause 80% of all heart attacks and 83% of all strokes. The most common cause is a condition called Atherosclerosis or “hardening of the arteries”. This is were a build up of plaque which has a hard surface inside your artery has cracked and the platelets that are designed to clot in order to protect us from bleeding to death, end up clotting over the crack and cause a complete blockage of blood flow. In the case of heart attack the blockage is near the heart and in the case of stroke the blockage cuts off the supply of blood to the brain. When it comes to heart disease, the free-radicals attack cholesterol cells in the blood supply deforming them which in turn makes them sticky; now you have bad LDL which collects and sticks to the artery walls. Inflammation dose not play a major roll in heart attacks and stoke but scientists are calling chronic inflammation a silent killer in a vast majority of diseases and illnesses.

In the year 2005, the number of people who died due to cancer is estimated to be around 570,280. It seems that the overall death rate is on the decline for some types of cancers, but there are others on the rise, such as esophageal, liver and thyroid cancers. The root cause of ALL forms of cancer is free-radicals damaging our DNA.DNA holds the blue print for all the cells that is created by it.  This blue print is who you are; when the free-radicals attack the DNA the blue print becomes mutated and when the new cell is produced with this new blue print you have a cancer cell.  You do not have cancer until the inflammation process begins; inflammation is the bodies’ defense against illness or injury. Inflammation tries to destroy the cells that it dose not recognize as being you, the inflammation loses this fight yet our bodies keep sending more, causing chronic inflammation. At this point the cancer cells start to feed on the inflammation cells and cancer growth begins.

More than 35 million Americans have chronic lung diseases. Every year over 349,000 people die from lung disease – a death rate of 121.4 per 100,000. The lungs are far more complex than other organs in the body. The lungs have various minor rolls to play and three major ones; they are defenders of intruders, they remove waste and toxins from the blood, and their main purpose is to supply oxygen to the blood. There are more than three dozen different types of cells inside the lungs and they all have very specific tasks to accomplish. Our lungs are battling constantly with the world outside with each breath that we inhale. If the lung function gets impaired in anyway – you may acquire a potentially fatal lung disease. Lung diseases such as asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis (CF), pneumonia, sarcoidosis, and many more can be fatal. In the case of lung diseases, free-radicals are coming in from the outside world in all forms of pollution; this creates inflammation which causes the obstruction of air flow.

Millions of Americans have type 2 diabetes; millions more have it and are not yet aware of it. Diabetes refers to the inability to utilise the sugar called glucose. Glucose is created when the body breaks down food for energy. The hormone insulin opens up the bodies’ cells to allow glucose to enter into the cell and be used as fuel. In diabetes the cell never opens up and the glucose flows through the blood stream causing high blood sugar levels. With diabetes the body either dose not make enough insulin or is resistant to its own natural insulin. High blood sugar can lead to very serious complications such as heart disease, kidney and eye disease and other problems like nerve damage and death. Heart disease is the leading cause of premature death in people with diabetes. Diabetes is the major cause of leg and foot amputations in Americans today. Infections are much harder to control in people with diabetes, they are at greater risk of complications and death due to infection. It is excessive body fat which happens to be the number one risk for type two diabetes! Diabetes is on the rise; Americans are eating poorly and are lacking physical activity. Free-radicals are very active in a person with diabetes, attacking a number of cells because diabetes causes an abnormal immune function. Free-radicals are the reason you see so many different complications or side illnesses in this disease. Chronic inflammation is also a major player with this disease and in the side illnesses. All of the above diseases need medications to help regulate the disease but you need to know this, medications cause free-radical damage, and this damage is called side effects. All medications can cause side effects.

Let us focus on free-radicals and inflammation and the way they act.
If you have a room with ten 2 year old children; they only have one toy in the room; can you imagine the mayhem; nine children trying to steal the toy from one child. Do you think that one child has a chance? This is what free-radicals do to a cell. Now you have the parents come into the room and try to comfort the children who are without toys. The children are crying and throwing fits and are impossible to calm down, you’ll do anything, usually offer them cookies or some other sweet treat. This is only a momentary fix; you would have to keep feeding them to keep them calm. This is inflammation. But if you have ten more children enter the room all with an extra toy to share with the others; it becomes peaceful and everyone is happy. This is what anti-oxidants do.

You have the power to take your health into your own hands and put a stop to the damage now. Anti-oxidants help the body fight against free-radicals, anti-oxidants are a molecule or atom that has an extra electron. It gives this extra electron away and in turn the free-radical stops attacking healthy cells. Science has proven that ALL diseases and illnesses are caused by free-radical damage. There are risk factors for all diseases but free-radicals are the source and cause of major complications. Free-radicals can not be avoided; they are in air and water pollution, in the junk foods we eat, and caused by traumas and injuries. Free-radicals are a part of life; they even affect the aging process itself.

Anti-oxidants are essential for health, plants contain about 1,000 to 1,500 anti-oxidants, a diet of fruits and vegetables is essential, supplements are key, vitamins and minerals contain high numbers of anti-oxidants. You need to do some research and try to find fresh supplements; they tend to lose their potency the longer they sit on the self. There are also super charged, super powerful anti-oxidants in nature called Xanthones. Xanthones have the power to defeat a larger number of free-radicals at one time, due to strong carbon bonds that make the molecule stable. Each Xanthone performs a specific biological function inside the body unlike regular anti-oxidants.

It is sad that most people save for retirement their entire adult life without realizing that possible future medical expenses can destroy any plans that they may have. By understanding your health requirements and the part that nutrition plays in that, you can greatly improve your quality of life into your retirement years.

Can Chiropractic Treatment Help Shoulder Pain?

Tampa Chiropractor: Most Frequently Asked Questions

Introduction

The complexity of the shoulder joint allows it to achieve many different movements and activities. The shoulder bones, i.e., the scapula, clavicle and humerus, are fastened together by ligaments and nearly 20 different muscles. The primary articulation, the glenohumeral joint, is joined by ligaments and a group of muscles (and their tendon attachments) known as the rotator cuff. Shoulder pain and disability are commonly caused by problems with the rotator cuff. Sports injuries, mechanical dysfunctions from muscle imbalances, or wear and tear of the tissues around the joint are often the causes of shoulder problems. Arthritic changes do occur in the shoulder joint, though not as commonly as in the weight-bearing joints of the spine, hips and knees.

Anatomy

The nerves in the cervical spine region innervate all of the muscles of the shoulder, elbow, arm and hand and can often pinpoint the source of the shoulder problem. Tight or weak shoulder muscles, produced by aggravated nerves can create dysfunction in the ordinary mechanics of the joint, especially in the rotator cuff. A similar condition can occur if one overworks the shoulder causing sports injuries, or in other repetitive activities that cause the muscles of the joint to become overly tight or strained. Individuals who sit too long in a lazy position, or with their shoulders held forward, are also at risk for promoting these imbalances and shoulder problems.

Rotator Cuff Syndrome

Pain and constricted motion will continue to occur until the imbalances and aggravation are correctedchanged. The severity can vary from a slight “catching” or pain to an almost total inability to use the shoulder. This painful condition is often called Shoulder Impingement or Rotator Cuff Syndrome, and can afflict people of all ages.

Frozen Shoulder

“Frozen shoulder” is another common problem. This often incapacitating condition occurs when the ligaments and tendons of the glenohumeral joint grow so inflamed that adhesions develop making the joint practically stuck together. This results in extreme pain, as well as limitation of shoulder mobility that makes even dressing oneself difficult! Left alone, frozen shoulder can take several years to resolve on its own, if ever, and therefore attention by a professional, such as your Tampa chiropractor is extremely important. The disorders mentioned above are the most prevalent of all shoulder disorders.

Treatment

Most shoulder treatments are generally the same. Muscle imbalances can be corrected with chiropractic treatment that includes soft tissue mobilization modalities to restore proper mobility to the shoulder joints and to correct any subluxations in the spine. Special rehabilitation exercises suggested by your Tampa chiropractor are also essential for a thoroughand speedy recovery.
