How can I use your technique of “farming” to breakthrough my current plateau of sales in my accounting firm?

“I really learned a lot from your perspective on hunting vs. farming as a way of attracting new prospects and business. I’m really stuck though because I always have believed in the concept of giving value first, asking for business second, yet my annual sales revenue has flattened out and I can’t seem to break through to the next level. My question is, how can I use this “universal” or “spiritual” principle to really grow my sales again, not just to feel good about what I’m doing?”

Mike, you are completely correct in searching for a way to use this spiritual principle to increase your success.

Most critical is knowing that it takes creativity, proactive effort, and old-fashioned hard work to create value for others. It can’t simply be a feeling or an attitude. The feeling, or attitude is required, but only useful when backed up with action. You might remember on the call that I mentioned the importance of behaviors, not just thinking, to improve results.

I would ask you this question:

What are some ways that you could be creating value that are easy to do, that you have allowed to become easy not to do?

This is a good starting point. If this triggers anything, than put it into practicez. You might take the three areas from the call: distributing information, problem solving, and gift giving, and ask yourself; what are the easiest, fastest ways you could apply these tips. I use the words “fast” and “easy” because most people over-think the process of farming (giving value first, asking for business second).

It might be as little as making sure your assistant answers every phone call in a positive and uplifting way, vs. an unmonitored non-emotion-inducing approach.

It could be the difference between sending out a packet of free, valuable info to your prospects before you meet them for a sales presentation, so they are conditioned early on to see you as an authority or expert.

Maybe it means hosting a teleseminar for everyone in your sphere of influence, showing them 4-7 ways to save money during tax season, or the 5 most common mistakes made by others in their field.

Affiliate Marketing Definition:  Someone (affiliate) that promotes (markets) a companies products and receives a commission for any sales made through the affiliates promotions.

Is affiliate marketing any good? Affiliate marketing, or internet marketing has become one of the easiest and very popular ways to earn money online.  You can be an affiliate for so many different companies or products, the possibilities are endless.  But one big question remains…

What do you need to do so you get started and become successful in the world of internet marketing?  One way is to take the longer trail and learn through trial and error.  Unfortunately, this path can take months, and sometimes even years before a beginner affiliate marketer finally gets the whole concept of affiliate marketing and is able to turn it into real money making career.  The great benefit of trial and error is you actually find what worked well for you throughout your mistakes.  The bad thing of this method is that it takes a LOT of time searching the internet trying to locate free information that actually cites good advice.

Deciding to get a kitten is a big step in expanding your family. Kitten care also requires more responsibilities, but kittens can grow to become excellent companions and are well worth the time and care in their upbringing.

An important part of bringing home a kitten is preparing your home for the addition. Have a good look around your house and “cat-proof” it. Keep in mind that anything that dangles (such as lamp cords, curtains, etc.) are an extreme temptation for a playful kitten. Kittens just love to explore, hide, as well as chew and “paw” things. Remember this when making your house cat-proof.

Feeding and daily care of a kitten involve just four items: a place for the kitten to sleep, fresh food and water, a litter box with litter and a scratching pad or post. Kittens love toys, too, so be sure to have plenty on hand when your kitten joins the family. Several name-brand foods specifically designed for kittens are available. Ask your veterinarian for recommendations if you are unsure when feeding a kitten.

Certain household plants and chemicals are poisonous to kittens and cats in general. For example, antifreeze is poisonous to both cats and dogs. Research on the internet to find out about these items and substances so that you never put your furry friend in peril.

Veterinary visits are a major responsibility when you care for a kitten. You must have your kitten examined as soon possible, not only for required injections, but for a general check-up to make sure your new pal is healthy and happy. You may also be require to register your pet with the local government (many cities require this, however it is not always a requirement for rural communities).

Some people find that litter training a kitten is quite easy. Most cats seem to be drawn to the litter box and need little or no assistance at all. However, some cats can be particularly difficult. You may find it easier to keep the litter box in an open, obvious area that the kitten can easily find. Also, do not completely replace the litter. Leaving a bit of “dirty litter” in the box can attract the kitten there as his nose will associate the litter box as the proper place to potty.

Owning a kitten is a fun and rewarding experience. Love and take good care of your kitten and you will have a devoted friend for years to come.

Does everybody need forex trading training or do some people have a natural talent for trading currency on the forex market? Many formal forex training programs have a forum where you can discuss your strategies and trades with others. Sharing information in this way can be a good way to learn. In fact, in many cases the forum itself is worth the cost of membership and many people remain members after completing the program just to have this exposure to the knowledge and experience of their fellow traders.

Solid forex training is unlikely to be free except at the most basic level. If you just want to dabble in the forex market as an experiment, without caring too much whether you win or lose, you may be satisfied with free training. The best type of free training is often given a way as a teaser or taster by sites or brokers who hope you will then join them as a paying member. In fact, you can often pick up top level tips this way and a free report from a reputable trader will often be more useful and valuable than a $20 ebook.

Whatever type of training you choose, be sure to follow it exactly. Don’t skip over the first steps hoping to get straight into making money – that would be a fast route to disaster. Test out the system you are being taught, either with small trades or in a demo account. Ask questions. Make sure you get every drop of wisdom from the training you have chosen so that you put yourself in the best position to turn a profit on completion of the forex trading training program.
