World of Warcraft Warlock Starter Guide

My WoW warlock guide should point you in the right direction when you are getting started playing with a warlock. Warlocks are supreme masters of the dark arts with the ability to control fire, shadows and demons. They are skilled necromancers that deal in anguish and torment. Though they are unable to go head to head in a melee fight, they more than make up for it by hurling high damage spells from a reasonable distance. A fair amount of a warlock’s spells use soul shards which must be collected from fallen enemies. Warlocks are quite possibly the fastest class to level with particularly when going the solo route. When raiding, warlocks can do massive amounts of damage and need to be careful not to pull aggro off of the tanks.

This class is an option that is only available to the Gnome, Orc, Blood Elf, Undead, and Human races. The single kind of armor a warlock may wear is of the cloth variety. They may use only staves, daggers, wands, and some swords as weapons.

There are several demonic minions a warlock can summon including the Doomguard, Felguard, Felhunter, Imp, Infernal, Succubus, and Voidwalker. Each minion has their place with different advantages and disadvantages. Warlocks generally focus on DoT’s (damage over time) and DD (direct damage) spells, but also have many specialty spells which can be handy including conjuring Soul Stones. They are able to utilize soul shards in order to conjure a variety of items and to perform resurrection on fallen comrades. They also possess some limited self healing ability when using drain life, and good crowd control talents as well. Warlocks can also acquire mounts for a much lower cost than the other classes because they are summoned with magic, not directly purchased.

The Affliction talent tree focuses on DoT’s, drains, and curses. This spec is good for raiding, boss killing, and farming. Affliction is generally acknowledged as the best leveling spec for warlocks.

The Demonology specialization concentrates mostly on spells and bonuses for your summoned demons that make them robust and more lethal. The Demonology spec is really good for PvP and overall survivability. It is also good for leveling, though it is not nearly as good as the Affliction tree. You’ll be extremely dependant on your demons when using this spec.

The Destruction specialization boosts the direct damage output of both your fire and shadow line of magic. Your warlock can do ridiculous amounts of damage, but you’ll suffer lower survivability. This specialization isn’t as popular as the other specs during the early levels. Note that Destruction is not so great for solo play. Also, it suffers from low mana efficiency and comes with a heavy reliance on soul shards. However, it is very satisfying watching health bars go to zero at lightning speed.

Dugi’s WoW 1-80 Leveling, Gold & PVP Guide

World of Warcraft strategy guides generally home in on just one facet such as leveling, amassing gold, leveling professions, or PvP. The only guide that covers all areas of WoW is the Ultimate WoW Guide. It contains more information than any other strategy guide. You might think that a guide like this is hard to keep current, but not so – the guide creator keeps it up to date for any and all changes due to patches or expansions.

There are 3 sections that Dugi’s Ultimate WoW guide is grouped into. Speed leveling your Horde or Alliance character to 80 is the main focus of the 1st section. Any leveling guide current with the times uses an in-game mod, and the Ultimate WoW guide uses a really good one. Switching back and forth from the game to a leveling guide has always been a real pain. After using this in-game guide I’ll never go back, and neither will you.

The in-game guide is simple to setup and it pretty much configures itself to whatever character you’re using. Determining what you need to do is straight forward since the guide holds your hand through all the steps you need to take. Getting around is extremely easy with the guide’s arrow on screen pointing out where to go. Locations are also all shown with small markers on the map (main and mini). It’s really slick and doesn’t ever get in your way.

Class centered quests are also included as part of the in-game guide. The provided gear spec guide is incredibly comprehensive and is for every classes up to 80. The in-game Talent Guide is only found in Dugi’s Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide. It works by using templates for all of your character’s talents which can be easily chosen when it’s time to designate those talent points.

Everyone needs more gold. How to get it is the focus of the 2nd section of the guide. You’ll amass all the gold you need during the leveling section. The gold guide focuses primarily on strategies for higher level toons but includes some strategies which lower level characters can use too. The only point at which you may actually need to amass gold in the early levels is when saving up for mounts. Dugi’s guide includes the best tactics for the auction house, and the best locations to farm for rare items.  Dailies are covered too. The guide makes it simple to accumulate more than five hundred gold per hour, which is really fast. Professions and gold making go hand in hand. The included Professions leveling guide explains which professions that you should take and how to level them up fast and cheap.

Lastly, the third section of the guide is devoted to player versus player. I find this to be one of the best features of Warcraft. No matter which class you are up against, this guide shows you how to walk away a winner. You’ll get a list of game add-ons and macros that make PvP even easier, and a guide for selecting the best PvP talents.

Other guides don’t even come close to delivering as much detailed information as does the Ultimate WoW Guide. You will not be sorry if you choose to go with this guide. Each guide in this massive bundle is a winner. The Ultimate WoW Guide is a 5 star product

The World of Warcraft Druid Guide

This WoW druid guide will attempt to communicate to you all you will need to understand to begin with druids.

One of the most versatile classes in the game is the Druid, which is a shape shifting hybrid class. You are able to use many different play styles with the druid. A role can be found for Druids of every Spec, whether it’s Raiding or PvP at the end game.

If you have ever played World of Warcraft before you know that each class, including Druids, are split into three talent trees. Each of the druid talent trees can offer different things.

The druid can be made into a very efficient spell damage dealer by using the Balance Tree that focuses on damage spells. Another great aspect of Balance talents is the ability to modify healing costs which is a must for an effective healer.

Focusing on the shape shifting forms of Cat, Bear, and Dire bear, the Feral Combat Tree focuses each of these in turn on either tanking, for bear and Dire bear, or on melee DPS, for cat form. Learning when to change between forms will be your most important task. The Feral talents will also allow modifications to Mana. Note that in the Moonkin form, you need a lot of Mana.

The druids learn the tree of life form by investing in the talent tree, and become a very good healer, since the Restoration tree focuses on healing spells. When using some restoration talents like Furor, the druid can get Rage when they switch to Cat or Bear form. The Natural Shape Shifter talent decreases the mana cost required for shape shifting by 30%.

There are some setbacks to becoming a druid that you need to know. Because druids can do so many things it can be hard to focus on one strategy. It is also a necessity to carry enough equipment for your character in order to fill the needs of all of your forms. They will all require different gear sets.

How to Level Fast in WoW

If you want to level your character as quickly as you can in World of Warcraft (WoW), then you need to follow a range of different tips. And each different character and class levels in slightly different ways. First and foremost, people level by completing quests and gaining experience. Characters gain this exp and levels as they finish tougher and tougher quests. But if you only follow the plot you will gain levels very slowly.

For a more thorough guide to leveling in WoW, go here: WoW Level Guide

As you complete quests you need to take time out to ‘grind’, where you fight and kill creatures purely for the experience, not necessarily to move forward in the game. When you are grinding, you will achieve greater experience if you are killing stronger opponents. But you really want to find a creature that your character can kill with relative ease so you can kill as many as you can as quickly as you can.

You also must be aware of the special items you need to collect as you move through the game, to gains levels fast. this makes a huge difference to how fast you level. There are many guides online that will tell you what these are, for a run down of the first ones go here: Must-Have WoW Items

It is essential that you manage your cash-flow if you want to progress fast and without losing momentum. You need gold all the time in WoW, for mounts, repars, items and much more. It’s very important to collect gold and make sre your supply is in the green at all times, otherwise you can get held up for long perios when you run out and will consequently level slower.

It’s important to know that when you are rested in WoW you gain experience and levels 200% faster! It’s something you must be aware of. This rest and exerience feature is really to help players who are only casual players, and take long breaks in between games. The problem here is that you will have to actually take a break fom play in real time to rest your character too, one way you can deal with this if you are very eager not to stop playing but you want to gain rested experience is to play two character simultaneously – so one rests while the other fights.

Another popular technique for leveling, that is a bit more advanced, is called ‘power leveling’. This is where you take your character and team up with another character of a much higher level. They then take you though some very tough quests, that you would not be able to do alone. When you do this you gain much more experience than before, but it is tricky and a bit dangerous. You could find another player and offer them gold or itms for this service, or even to help them power level another one of their characters. Or simply get a friend to help you out.

Introduction to World of Warcraft

Have you heard of WoW?

World of Warcraft or WoW as it known, is a “Massively Multi player On-line Role-Playing Game” or MMORPG. This means thousands (sometimes tens of thousands) of gamers,  from all over the World exist in the same on-line game world at the same time. Abandoning the real world they undertake heroic quests in a land of fantastic adventures..

The game has two warring races: the Horde and Alliance. When you have decided which side to play there are nine classes of character to choose from: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior and Death Knight. They all have their individual set of talents and depending on the class of character that you build, your character’s talent trees are for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, or healing.

There are thousands of quests to complete with many different kinds of weapons and transportation. In addition, there are four types of Realms which will be the very first decision you will have to make before playing World of Warcraft. The aim of the game is money and reputation which will enhance your power and skill. A good place to start is our Best WoW Leveling Guides to help you through this mystical world.

There are 10 races to play: Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Undead, Blood Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves and Draenei and multiple professions you can have: Alchemy, Black smithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid Fishing, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, and Inscription. (Note: Within the Rogue class there are two unique secondary professions: Lock Picking and Poisons).

Within the game itself there are two “modes” of character:

  • Player Characters (which are controlled by real people)
  • Non-Player Characters (which are controlled by the games’ software)

So you can find yourself playing a “real” person as well as the games created opponent.
Your character can earn copper, silver or gold to fund your adventures. In addition you will need to work on the different skills for your character.

There are a whole host of guides around and all do pretty much what they claim but some do it better by having additional features such as forums and members areas which help you level your character from 1-70 more easily. Many also have detailed gold guides and the latest up to date information on, for example, Wrath of the Lich King which takes you up to level 80! With that in mind though players are free to go at their own pace and pit their skills against multiple opponents. Jewelcrafting Leveling Guide

When the first expansion came out, the Burning Crusade, a few interesting additions were added to the game, including a new trade skill called jewel crafting.  Jewel crafting is reminiscent of Blizzard’s Diablo 2, where you could add jewels to weapons and armor that have the appropriate slots.  This system is similar, with a few small additions, like having the ability to unlock bonuses for using the correct combination of colored gems.  Using this combination isn’t required, though, especially if the bonus isn’t particularly useful to your class.
There are several different types of jewels, and each color is known to have a similar effect on the character it is on, depending on the rarity of the jewel.  There are also, however, something called a meta jewel, which has considerably more powerful benefits than the other jewels.  These benefits have certain requirements that need to be met in order for the jewel to become active, however.  Some require certain jewels to already be present on the character, others have more complicated requirements.
Jewels are comprised of four types.  At the bottom of the list are common jewels, sometimes referred to as greens.  While these jewels may give less valuable benefits to those who use them, they are useful because of their inexpensiveness and commonality.  For a player who quickly replaces gear when leveling up, it is a beneficial purchase.  While it may not yield the results of a more expensive jewel, they won’t be using it for long.
Above green items, there are blue quality jewels.  These jewels are rarer than the green quality, and are typically what are used for most items.  They are much more accessible than epic quality gems and provide some very significant boosts.
Then there are purples, or epic jewels.  These jewels offer the best statistical advantages out of all the other jewels, but acquiring them will put a serious dent in your gold stash.  These jewels are very expensive because of how difficult they are to acquire, and the materials that are needed to make them.  You can reduce the amount these epics cost by acquiring the gems that are needed, but to do this will require badges of justice from various heroic instances.
To get jewels you need to start by collecting ore in stacks of five. Increments of five ore when prospected randomly can result in the discovery of a green, blue or in really rare circumstances, a purple quality gem. Large amounts of jewels can be obtained in less time when you follow this procedure and do it with larger quantities of ore. You will get huge amounts of cash from your sales of the jewels, particularly when taking into consideration that jewels are in high demand. Cutting the gems can also help you earn larger profits.
By following this guide closely, becoming a master jewel crafter won’t be a problem at all.  This type of leveling has been heavily researched, and has proven more effective than other methods found elsewhere.
If you want to dominate World of Warcraft you will most likely need to use a Gold Leveling Guide and a Horde or Alliance Leveling Guide. The best Gold Leveling Guide is Warcraft Millionaire, The top overall WoW Leveling Guide is the Ultimate WoW Guide.

The Ultimate Shaman Leveling Guide

Shamans decide the role they shall be taking up in the case of leveling up as well as adventuring in parties and raids by themselves. For this they have two available options. A second set of options is also provided to one of these options, which are decided only when you know fairly well the job you assign to your shaman.
Shamans bring a lot to the table and require a player to be knowledgeable of the class – there is a lot more involved than just button mashing here.  Shamans are the only class to be able to cast totems onto the ground, which can perform a number of functions ranging from slowing down enemies to significant bonuses to allies.  Shamans are allowed to have up to four totems on the ground around them at any time, and they will expire after a certain amount of time.  Shamans have the ability to call these totems back for a small exchange of mana before they expire.  These totems come with small amounts of hit points, so they are easily discarded in PvP if they are targeted.  In raids and party groups, the totems that give health points and mana to the group are most preferred.
Shamans have the ability to both DPS and heal if they choose.  As a healer, they are the only class that is able to heal through using a spell referred to as chain heal.  This heal can bounce from person to person, with a healing reduction of half as it jumps.
While playing the role of a damage dealer, these casters have the ability to send out some of the highest damage per second ratios compared to other classes.  As long as their mana holds up, the damage keeps coming.  Combining this with the ability to reduce damage and interrupt casts with their totems, and you have a feared class in player versus player content.
In player versus player, Shamans are very popular because of their ability to lash out huge amounts of damage in short periods of time.  This gives them the ability to take down multiple targets quickly, but it takes a toll on their mana, which will quickly run out.  As a healer, Shamans have the luxury of allowing their totems to take care of a few of their responsibilities – such as curing poisons.  The totems affect the entire party, and are a welcomed addition to any team.
This guide has been prepared through long hours of research and will ensure that you have all the information you may need as you prepare yourself for the long journey to level 80.  Take it day by day, and stick to the guide and you will be fine.
In order to become a WoW Master, you’ll need to be at level 80 and have a heap of money. The best way to do these things are by following detailed guides. The best gold guides and leveling guides are the Warcraft Millionaire guide and the Ultimate WoW Guide.

World of Warcraft – Death Knight Leveling Guide

You will always find a variety of knights, but none of them is as exceptional as the death knight. It basically has three levels, with the first one starting at level 55, which allows you to add on your points. What’s amazing is that if you manage to leave level 58, it will help you in working without necessarily having to visit the previous content of the old game.
Death Knights have the ability to fill two roles very well; that is the role of a damage dealer and a tank.  The two most popular choices for talent specialization are Unholy and Blood.  As a Blood talent specialization, you gain the ability to do large amounts of damage, and siphon some back to yourself as health.  This allows a Death Knight to continuously pump out damage with less worry about their health points.
As much as the unholy knights rarely heal, they do manage to kill with help. However, when perfect talent specialization is done, the unholy death knight will have a follower that will always be present until the time it is killed. They might even take as long as two minutes if less specialization is done.
Remember that Death Knight tanks are quite possible the most feared tanks, as they function much differently than conventional tanks.  Much like Druids, this class has no need for the use of a shield, and relies on unleashing large amounts of damage to replenish itself and its minions.  They have very large amounts of health points, which is useful when going against large raid bosses, and have the ability to both dual wield and use two hand weapons.
Death Knights also have many forms of damage mitigation, which particularly becomes useful when battling multiple enemies at a time.  They do not use rage or mana, but rather have a unique system called runic power.
Runes at some point appear a bit difficult to understand. The logic is that you need six runes with two of base type. The three major runes, frost, unholy and blood runes, can be sampled out in a special way. With frost and unholy, you can be in a position to successfully bring out the death runes, which count as, frost unholy and death runes. This basically offers you a unique opportunity when playing death knight.
One simple tip for you is to always remain cautious as you play death knight. Remember that they are exclusively unique and might not appear in any other way to be same as any of the classes that you have played before.
Read and understand the leveling guide as well as you can, particularly if you are new to World of Warcraft.  The guide will provide you with the clear directions and incite you will need to navigate through this new and wonderful class.

WoW Warlock Guide

This WoW warlock guide attempts to point you down the right path when getting started playing as a warlock. The warlock focuses primarily on damage over time spells, shadow bolts, and commanding demons. The spells available to the warlock class are primarily focused on inflicting excruciating pain and anguish. They can inflict incredible devastation from a distance but are almost never in the thick of things due to their low armor class. Several talents require the use of soul shards, which a warlock has to acquire from slaying enemies. The warlock is easily one of the fastest leveling classes and truly shines when playing solo. In groups, warlocks are often the top DPS dealers.

Permissible races for the warlock class are Undead, Orcs, Humans, Gnomes, and Blood Elves. The single kind of armor a warlock can equip is of the cloth variety. They may only use daggers, staves, swords and wands for weapons.

There are several demonic minions a warlock can summon including the Doomguard, Felguard, Felhunter, Imp, Infernal, Succubus, and Voidwalker. Each minion possesses unique benefits that you can exploit. Whether it’s damage over time (DoT), direct damage (DD), or demon summoning, the warlock can cast a broad range of magic spells. They’re able to use soul shards to produce a variety of items and to resurrect other players. They also have some limited self healing ability when using drain life, and great crowd control talents ,too. One of the overlooked advantages that warlocks enjoy is that they don’t have to pay nearly as much money as other classes to acquire mounts (Felsteed and Dreadsteed).

The Affliction talent tree uses talents that are designed to bolster the warlock’s curses, drains and damage over time spells. This spec works great for raiding, boss killing, and farming. It is the best spec for leveling fast.

Demonology talents are intended to make summoned demons stronger and more effective, as well as improving conjuring spells and providing you other passive bonuses. For player versus player, Demonology is a really good talent tree. For leveling, it is just a notch below Affliction. If you want to create the most powerful demons, this is the specialization to pick.

Destruction uses talents that are meant to amplify the power of a warlock’s shadow and fire spells, which are primarily direct damage (DD) spells that can be used to quickly eliminate 1 mob. This specialization is not as useful as the others during the early levels. Although you can cause massive damage, there are some negatives to this specialization that should be taken into account. You’ll need a bunch of soul shards, you will burn through mana really quickly, and playing solo will be really hard. On the other hand, it is a lot of fun.
